University of Washington, Seattle
Welcome to NASSLLI '25! #
The North American Summer School in Logic, Language, and Information (NASSLLI) 2025 will be held June 23-27 at the University of Washington, in Seattle. This will be the second in-person NASSLLI since 2018, following NASSLLI '22 at USC. The summer school will bring together students and researchers from many disciplines (computer science, information sciences, linguistics, mathematics, philosophy, psychology, and beyond) for a series of courses and workshops on topics in the interdisciplinary study of logic, language, and information.

News and Updates #
- NASSLLI is here! We are excited to welcome you to Seattle and the beautiful University of Washington campus for an intellectually stimulating week. If you have not received an email with details about the event, please check your spam folder and make sure that you have fully registered by completing the Google Form on the registration page. If you have any questions, please email Shane Steinert-Threlkeld at shanest AT uw DOT edu with "NASSLLI" in the subject line.
- A few last-minute changes to the schedule have been made, and information about Zoom format has been added, so please check the course schedule for the most up-to-date information.
- Thanks to Naomi Tachikawa Shapiro for our lovely new logo! The logo features a stylized depiction of Mount Rainier, which is visible from the University of Washington campus and many points in Seattle, with a lambda, used in many areas of logic, linguistics, and computer science.
- Schedule update: all three bootcamp courses are now offered on June 22 only, in two blocks from 10AM-1PM and 2PM-5PM. This format change reflects the lodging update below.
- Lodging detail: UW Conference Services housing (see link below) is only available starting the night of June 22. If you want to arrive early, you will have to arrange alternative lodging options. We apologize for this inconvenience.
- Lodging through UW is live! You can use this link to reserve a room (also linked on the registration page). The deadline is May 30, but we would appreciate if you could book as soon as you are able.
- Information is being added to the course schedule website as it comes in, so keep your eyes peeled there for updates.
- Hybrid format: although NASSLLI is fundamentally an in-person event, and the relationships built during in-person attendance are often formative and long-lasting, we do want to make the program available as widely as possible. To that end, there is an online-only option for registration. The majority---though not all---courses will be offered on Zoom. Information will be added to the course schedule page as it becomes available.
- Registration is open! See the registration page for details. Please do register as early as you know you are able to make it.
